THE VERTICAL VILLAGE

Designed by Swiss architects Herzog & De Meuron and located in the most-high-end residential area in Lebanon, Beirut Terraces marks the introduction of the first-ever vertical village concept in the world. The concept shapes the city’s future and revives its past by integrating the indoor outdoor living experience through extended terraces.

Beirut Terraces offers simplexes, duplexes, and penthouses, each with a unique layout and size, making each apartment a limited luxury edition complemented with refined amenities.

The individual apartments are grouped on the different levels in different formations and come together to beautifully mold a new neighborhood.

The exterior’s multi-level curtains of greenery transform each apartment into a living, breathing entity with a personality of its own yet part of a vibrant vertical community.

INSIDE AND OUTSIDE

Beirut Terraces revives the indoor versus outdoor living experience through the introduction of hanging gardens and extended perforated slabs, shaping generous terraces extending from one’s living space.

With airy, large areas prevailing, their day to day life is balanced by the free flow between interior and exterior spaces.

VEGETATION AND ARCHITECTURE

Blending art with landscaping gives a constant green feel and balances the immediate environment by providing an active breathing part for the architecture. Residents get to feel a complete sense of contentment in a home filled with vitality and serenity.

LIGHT AND IDENTITY

Beirut Terraces’ poignant identity during daytime is further reinforced by nighttime through an integrated “state of the art” lighting concept, which highlights the fenestrations in the slabs. Such perforations not only adjust the levels of light and sun exposure, but their density, shape and cast shadows generate an unmistakable pattern that clearly distinguishes the identity of the tower from its surroundings.

VIEWS AND PRIVACY

Floor-to-ceiling windows ensure rooms are bathed in natural light, offering residents scenic views of the sea, mountains, and the city right from their living room. Vegetated screens used throughout the building’s terraces provide shade, but more importantly guarantee the necessary level of privacy for each household.
